GOLD AND SILVER COINS

We are strong buyers of gold and silver coins. The most common coins we come across are Krugerrand's and Sovereign's.

Krugerrand: Weighing 33.4 grams of 22ct gold. There are also half Krugerrand's, graduating down to one tenth.

​

Sovereign: Weighing 7.9 grams of 22ct gold. A half sovereign will weigh 3.9 grams.

​

We are interested in buying all British and foreign gold coins.

​

Please note most countries produce gold coins which range in carat from 9ct to 24ct.

Pre-1947 silver coins

We currently are paying a very strong price for 1946 and earlier silver coins (in any condition). Crowns, half-crowns, florins, shillings, sixpences and three penny pieces wanted.

For pre-1920's (925) silver coins we pay the scrap silver price relating to the daily metal exchange.

​

Please note we do not buy copper or brass coins of any age or description, or coins from 1947 or after.
